Sizing Recomendations:
3/4" Shrink Tube: works for hitch cords, 8mm to 10mm hand splice and sewn terminations (doubled over)
1" Shrink Tube: works for climbing lines, 11mm to 13mm (1/2") hand splice and sewn terminations (doubled over)
1-1/4" Shrink Tube: works for 5/8" and 9/16" ropes, double braid and hollow braid hand splices and sewn terminations
1-1/2" Shrink Tube: works for 3/4" ropes, double braid and hollow braid hand splices and sewn terminations
2" Shrink Tube: works for 7/8" and 1" ropes, double braid and hollow braid hand splices and sewn terminations

Yes you can put a piece of paper under this and then heat this shrink tube to be tight on the rope. This will help preserve and protect this label.
