SMC Grip Rope Grab

The ergonomic SMC Grip rope grab is a favorite among rescue teams, arborists, and rope access pros. Fully openable, it allows for installation anywhere on the rope. The cam’s axle is designed with an intermediate position to facilitate quick attachment of the device to the rope.

Unlike toothed devices, the cam’s design helps protect the rope in the event of unexpected loading. The Gripp’s large attachment point facilitates carabiner attachment and rotation. Spring-loaded side locking pins adds extra security to the system.

Durable with no plastic parts, made from machined aluminum and stainless steel. Integrated wire spring keeps cam engaged with the rope.
