Details
- Polished Steel Finish: No hidden blemishes to attract heat and create hot spots on the bar that ultimately shortens the useful life of the bar.
- Superior Rail Hardness: The rail edges are hardened more than the body of the bar which significantly reduces rail wear
- Flexibility: The body of the bar is hardened less than the rails to allow for flexibility when crimped, extending the useful life of the bar
- Lower Weight: Reduces required energy to carry the saw thereby reducing fatigue during the day and encouraging increased production
- Smaller Nose Curve: Significantly reduces burring that is developed in the bar channels. Reducing the amount of maintenance time.

28” Bar
Bought a 28” Sugihara and a 28” Tsumura and have yet to try out the Tsumura as the Sugihara has been a heck of a bar and taken everything I’ve thrown at it. Would definitely buy another if and when the time comes.
Chainsaw bar
very good bar works perfectly
20” Sugihara bar
Can’t say anything bad about the Sugihara Light Weight bar. I’m not a professional by any means, but I felled and bucked a good 30-40 cords of wood with the 20” Sugihara lightweight bar and it took some abuse I can say that. In the hands of a professional it would probably still be going strong, but as a growing and learning feller it was my own fault that the bar got pinched and bent. But definitely would buy another without hesitation after seeing what it can do and definitely light.
