Better than Reusable Grocery Bags
I only have one of these cubes, so when I have several throw lines set up I resort to using those reusable heavy duty grocery bags. Those work okay, but I much prefer my throw line cube. It's nice having the little pocket inside for your throw ball, being able to fold up so small, and having the big opening to flake your throw line between throws. A lot more expensive than a grocery bag, but it's a nice to have.
Great throw line product
The ability to go from a small triangle to a cube that holds your throw line makes this a must have for all.
Durable
This is my second throw line cube by Weaver. I still use my original one which is 5 years old but bought another for a secondary throw line. These cubes last a long time and are similar quality to the more expensive cubes. Definitely recommend this cube.
Not bad but not great
I've had this cube for about 4 months, and have been overall happy with it. Unfortunately two of the poles have popped out and occasionally make it fall over and tangle the line. It was stiff to open, which was nice, but the corners tore too quickly.
Does the trick
So you need a throw cube, to store throw line and a couple throw balls. Here you have it. The price is right and if you store properly and setup and break down properly this thing works. I wish it had a loop so i could hang it in the truck.
Holds up well
Holds up well under many conditions. This has been in almost all weather conditions. I would even say slightly abused and it’s 1 year still strong. Treat the Weaver cube like an expensive one and I’m sure it will last just as long and look as good too. A++++ on the color because let’s admit it this is a dirty job.
Yay
Have 3 as long as you take care of them.. Weaver throw line cubes take care of you. Always setup and knock down properly and keep them stored neatly. I think they are awesome for the price
Just not worth it.
Even at the low price, it cost you more (as a company owner) to buy trash throw cubes. They break and climbers always try and make them last longer than they need to. They cause stress (as if throwing into a tree that needs pruned isn't enough already) and slow production. Just don't. C'mon Weaver. Make something slightly respectable.
One year and Still going strong
I bought this because it was the cheapest option and to see how long it would last. Here we are a year later and it's still intact. I climb three to five times a week. Even if it broke tomorrow, I still think I got my money's worth.
