Yale XTC Fire 1/2" Climbing Rope
Yale XTC Fire is a 16 Strand rope designed specifically for the demanding needs of the professional arborist. XTC-16 is a tight braid consisting of 16 individual strands of polyester. A high-twist core of torque-balanced polyester keeps the construction firm and round, providing an extra safety measure. XTC-16 is an excellent choice for both climbing line or a light rigging rope due to its no snagging, abrasion-resistant construction and excellent energy absorption characteristics.
XTC Fire is the highest-visibility climbing line ever seen in the industry. Fire is specifically designed for the demanding needs of arborists, embodying the same characteristics of XTC-16 ropes Yale has made for the last two decades.

Great 16 strand rope
Got this Yale XTC rope with sewn eye splice, once again arbsession hit it out of the park the seen eye looks really clean and rope feels great in the hands.
Great light rig line
I wouldn't push the tensile strength with big wood but if you gotta rig out some small to mid size arms real quick, this Yale XTC Fire rope will do the trick. It's priced reasonably and feels good in the hands. If you do rig with it remember to not climb on it. It's gotta be one or the other.
Great climbing line
I've been using this Yale XTC Fire line for about 2 years now and love it. The raise profile of the rope gives you plenty of grip when moving around in the tree. I just order a new one to replace my old one. We use the old line for light rigging or a tag line and it handles everything we throw at it. Arbsession does a great job on their splices!
