Great saw
Ive been running these since they came out was using the t540ixp before this haven't used my 201tc in years. The clutch and sprocket cover are both significant improvements over the t540ixp, the cover is metal which helps a lot with chain tension consistency compared to the plastic on the 540ixp and it has a much larger chip discharge area.
Gas top handles BEWARE!
Having used this saw now for many months I feel ready to share a review. It will replace your 16" gas saw all day. It has more power than I ever expected. It should be respected as much as any gas saw because it will do just as much damage. Great saw for brushing out, and pruning. I was skeptical about trying an electric saw but am glad I did. It can take all the abuse and perform like a pro saw reliably. It gets a heavy with the bigger batteries but you save 30+ pull starts in the tree so it makes up for it in my opinion. Haven't had an issue running it in the rain, heat or cold.

The Husqvarna T542i XP is just as good as I was hoping, you only notice the clutch when you would want it. Very good restarts and just feels so variable like controlling throttle on gas to clean a notch. Electric really shines on the edge of a sketchy limb walk or hot humid days when the gas saw gets an attitude.
