12-Strand
12-Strand arborist rope can be used for tree climbing, but it is more commonly used in tree care for natural crotch rigging. 12-strand line can be sewn, but not hand spliced. It resists snagging and holds knots well. Samson Arbor-Plex and True Blue are durable 12-strand ropes that work well even when wet.
