Gibbs Klimair Bi-Directional Lanyard Adjuster with Clevis Pin
The Gibbs KLIMAIR (Climb-Air) is a bi-directional lanyard adjuster for tree climbing designed for 1/2" fliplines. It features an aluminum shell and a stainless steel swiveling eye. This is a rare lanyard adjuster because the cam is designed to work in either direction (for potential use in a 2-in-1 lanyard setup).
This version features a clevis pin with a split retaining ring for quicker installation than the bolted version.
Gibbs Ascenders are designed not to slip. They hold well on iced and muddy ropes. Their simple, durable construction makes them almost fool proof. They are easy to assemble on the rope yet will not come off unexpectedly. They can be rigged in all the standard methods for mechanical prussiks.
Not for self belay by solo climbers.
Assembly:
- Remove split ring and pull out clevis pin.
- Remove cam.
- Place shell on rope and align holes in cam and shell.
