Are the Arbori sigma climbtech trousers the same as wearing chaps? Or do you need a rated pant for the same protection?

These Sigma Climbtech Trousers do not have a chainsaw protection material in them. These are just climbing pants. So to get chainsaw protection you would need to wear chainsaw chaps over them.
