Is there a size reference? I would like to store a petzl vertex plus my knee/boot ascender, rope wrench & pulley setup, as well as a few other sundry items.

We took the one we have in stock here and test fitted it with a Petzl Vertex Vent with 3m muffs installed. It fit perfectly with room to spare for some of the other items you listed.
