We are dealing with Browntail moth and I need to determine the quantity of Ace-Jet packets we will need for use in Chemjet injectors. How many injectors will one packet of Ace-Jet provide. Thanks in advance!

Hello, Injections quantity/amount is based off of the trees diameter you are treating.

For example if you are treating a 20" diameter tree and you are using the Arborjet Tree I.V. system you would have 8 injection sites. A low rate is 150 mLs and a high rate is 175mLs.

Mixing Instructions: Mix each 15 gram ACE-jet packet per 100 milliliters of water. Refer to the Dosage Tables below to determine the number of packets and total volume needed to be mixed for tree application. Mix only the amount needed for immediate use. Empty the contents of the packet into the injection canister. Add the appropriate amount of water to the container. Use distilled water or acidic to neutral water (pH 5.5 – 7.0). Close the container by screwing on the lid. Next, swirl the contents THOROUGHLY until all the ACE-jet is dissolved.

So for that 20" tree you would be using 26.75 grams of product if you were treating at the high rate which was 175mL. This would be 1.78 of the 15 gram packets.

Always refer to the products label.
